K-9 Facilities 
 
   Gray Kennels & Security is a full service kennel with boarding, pick up and delivery.We are currently offering a Dog Search Program to our customers, who seek a specific breed of animal. For a deposit (1/2 of the dogs value), we will attempt to find the animal you are looking for, which can normally be completed within 2 weeks.  The deposit is applied to the sale price of the dog and is fully refundable in the event that we are unable to locate the desired animal. For information on this program or animals that we have, please contact us by email or call our office during normal business hours.

   We also offer full service indoor/outdoor boarding at all times of year, for those who must or wish to travel but cannot take their animal with them. For more information on boarding services, please email or call our office.

  
   

The owners of Gray Kennels & Security have been training dogs since 1979.  And the staff at  Gray Kennels & Security offer several different training options and levels.
                                    

                                

                

                                    

Training Options

   

House Breaking:

    Requires that your dog be dropped off on a Monday and picked up on Saturday.

  

 Basic Obedience: 

       Commands include: sit, stay, heel, down, and come.  All while on a leash,
this a two week course. 
   
   

Advanced Obedience and Specialty training: 

   
Guard dog training for personal property and protection.

   
      All obedience classes include: The basic vocal commands and hand signals. 
    
      Leash training includes: Training your animal to behave correctly while walking on a leash and "auto-sit" training, meaning when you stop, the animal will automatically stop and sit beside you, and wait until given another command.

  As mentioned previously, we offer more than one option for training to better suit the individual needs of our clients. Our two training options are:

Owner/Handler training:

    
         These classes meet every Saturday from 10a.m. to 11 a.m. In these classes, you as an owner/handler will learn how to train your animal, as well as how to maintain their training. You will play a hands-on role in your animal's training helping to build an effective bond between the two of you.  Appointment for new clients by calling our office. 

    
Boarded In-House Training:

   
         In-house training classes are an option preferred by many, especially those owner/handlers who may not have been able to find the time to train, but care enough for their animal to desire training.

        With In-house training, we board your animal in our kennel facilities for two weeks, and provide intensive training, giving your animal the time required to achieve the desired results. This type of training also provides you as the owner/handler the convenience of a well trained animal, without the cost of valuable time required to achieve this goal.

        For those owner/handlers whose animals require prescribed medications   daily, please be assured that this is a situation we are prepared for.
